Bird Carers Course

Course Overview

Hunter Wildlife Rescue is in urgent need of bird carers in all areas to commence this spring. If you feel you can assist and begin caring for our native birds please book in now.

Limited numbers and we will not be able to run another bird caring course this year.

This course is limited to Hunter Wildlife Rescue members who have completed their Introductory Course and  who can commit to caring, rehabilitation and potential release.

The course will cover care procedures, housing and hygiene for adult, fledgling and nestling birds.

Hunter Wildlife Rescue Centre at the Hunter Wetlands. Please park in carpark 2

Catering

Please bring your own lunch. Morning tea will be provided. Please tell us if you have any special dietary requirements.

Registration

Register by submitting the training registration form and transferring payment online. Bank account details for payment can be found on the training form.

Limited spaces available. Please register early to avoid disappointment.
